Alright. Time for a new post.

I must admit I abandoned this blog for a while because I've been working on my photograpy blot: http://amandak-photography.blogspot.com/ But never fear, I'm back! For now atleast. Until I have more photo shoots. :D I'm really hoping for photography to become a career, so I apologize if I don't spend as much time here as I should.

Practice Photo Shoot

A friend of my friend Tricia was nice enough to let me use her two adorable little girls to practice my photography skills. I was in bad need of some new material to work with on photoshop! I got so many great shots of these cuties! I thought they turned out pretty good being my first time to actually work with little ones.

A Deam Come True....

No lie. This has been one of my "Things to Do Before I Die" list. Of course the actual dream is to pet/swim with dolphins so this is part of the dream.

Heath and I took one last excursion of the summer to Sea World. I started out being grumpy because it rained on us the whole 3 1/2 hrs there. It stopped raining when we got there but it was all humid and i felt gross. But eventually I got over my grumpiness. We checked out the animals then we rode the Steel Eel which about killed me, truely, and the Atlantis. We got soaked and it was nice. Anyway, here are a few pictures I took with my new camera!

It was a good day. {Despite standing in line at the post office for 45 minutes. Thank goodness I had my book.}

I have a New Camera!!

Yay! It's a Canon Rebel XSi. I still haven't figured out how to use it....I need to take some classes. But here are some of my very first pictures I have taken. I also used it this weekend to take picture of FBC Chappell Hill D-Now. I had no idea what I was doing but I managed to get some decent pics. These are just some random ones:

What a busy week it has been! It's been a good time so far. It's fun to see everyone again. I'm hanging out in Heath's class only because I'm actually figuring out this theory stuff. He's a good teacher. My wedding pics came in. We had them sent here to the school since we are going to be gone for 2 weeks. They are AWESOME. You can go here and look at them if you'd like.

Howdy Ya'll!!

We're in Nasvhille, TN for 2 weeks at Stamps Baxter School of Music. Heath is teaching and I am actually listed under staff! Oooo.... Don't know how that happened. Maybe because I said I wouldn't mind helping out? There is no telling what they'll have me doing but that's alright. Atleast I can skip out on the boring stuff without feeling too guilty. I'm so wore out right now. We just flew back in yesterday evening from a friend's wedding in Georgia and had to get right back on a plane today. It doesn't help that we were up 'til 1am packing. These next couple weeks should be interesting. You just don't get much sleep here....

Really Love It......

So I list this and I'm in the forums promoting like crazy. I look back at a thread and the O.P. has said, "Congrats on selling it!" So I look back at it and it's gone and only within minutes of listing it! Love when that happens! I just love this tape measure and now it gets to go to a new loving home!
